The essentials
Choose a tray by usable room, access and foot comfort. A corner shape or grid does not guarantee a suitable fit for your rabbit. Confirm dimensions before buying.

Start with your room, not the product photograph
Shopping for an indoor rabbit litter box can feel repetitive because many trays look similar in photographs. Start with your room instead. Write down the current toilet area, the space around it and your access for cleaning. A corner tray may appear convenient, but its shape does not tell you how much usable room your bunny will have inside. This guide helps you prepare a useful comparison before ordering. It does not promise that one particular model will litter train your rabbit. A purchase should address an observed need and fit the routines already working in your home.
Check usable room and entry measurements
Prepare three questions before comparing prices: what are the external dimensions, how much space is usable inside and how high is the entrance? A product description should help answer them. Ask before paying if a measurement is missing. Check the space in front of the tray as well: something that fits a corner may still obstruct a passage or be awkward to remove. Consider where you will put the tray while cleaning it. These checks concern your actual setup and prevent you from estimating an object’s size from the rabbit photographed beside it. A label saying dwarf rabbit is not a measurement.
Foot comfort matters more than a grid
Rabbit.org recommends roomy, easily cleaned trays that are comfortable for feet and advises against grids. A grid should therefore not be the deciding reason to purchase. Our listed model is a corner litter box with a grid: check its construction and ask whether that component can be removed before considering it. We are not confirming here that it is removable. Choose another option if the design cannot provide a comfortable arrangement suited to your rabbit. Passing on an unsuitable purchase can be a better decision than finding a way to use something that does not fit.
Plan cleaning before the first use
Imagine an ordinary week: removing the tray, inspecting its components, cleaning it, drying it and putting it back. That routine should be manageable in your home. Ask which parts separate and which care instructions apply to the model. Do not assume an accessory is dishwasher safe or compatible with any household cleaning product. Check the instructions supplied with the order. Think about reaching corners and inspecting beneath a component. Maintenance is a practical function to evaluate before buying. An attractive colour and an unobtrusive location do not replace the information needed to maintain an accessory appropriately.
Choose the hay holder as a separate decision
You may also want to compare how hay is presented around the litter area. The hanging metal hay rack and the three-opening hay bag are different accessories, with different fittings and openings to check. A holder should not make hay difficult to reach. Ask for the measurements needed to assess its placement, then observe your rabbit when it is introduced. Buying only the tray is perfectly reasonable, as is keeping an existing hay arrangement that already works. The aim is a useful setup, not an obligatory bundle simply because several products appear together in the catalogue.
Compare article prices without an invented bundle
The corner litter box with grid is listed at €19.90. The hanging metal hay rack costs €16.90 and the suspended hay bag €12.90. A tray plus a rack therefore totals €36.80 in products; a tray plus a bag totals €32.80. These examples exclude shipping and contain no discount. They compare two possible baskets rather than automatically recommending either of them. Start with functions and measurements, then consider your budget. An accessory you already own does not need replacement simply to complete an order. Keeping a suitable existing item may leave room for another genuine need.
Check the total for France, the UK or the USA
Your delivery destination affects how you can order. For metropolitan France and the United Kingdom, checkout calculates postage using quantities and the estimated weights configured by the shop. Payment is in euros. For a United States address, request a quote: automatic payment remains unavailable while customs and processing charges are unconfigured. Read the shipping page before buying. An article price is not the final order total. Compare the basket together with its transport charge and any import questions that apply to your destination. The English catalogue provides product information; its availability does not itself guarantee a particular shipping arrangement.
Ask a specific question before purchasing
If you are unsure, contact us with the tray reference and the measurements of your available space. You might ask for internal width, entrance height or how components come apart. Include the destination country when you also need clarification about transport. Never send payment card details through a message. A short, specific enquiry helps establish a feature before you decide. Wait for answers on points that determine suitability. Dwarf rabbit is a broad product description rather than proof of a universal fit. Your rabbit’s body shape, movement and surroundings still need to be considered together.
Inspect the tray before introducing it
After delivery, compare the item with its advertised description and inspect the components. Check edges, fittings and stability on your floor. Do not force your rabbit to use a new object. Keep familiar surroundings and watch how they enter, leave and move around it. Contact the shop if a component is damaged or an essential feature differs before continuing use. Read the return information as well. Assessment continues after purchase: an accessory should earn a useful place in everyday life. A first photograph or a moment of curiosity does not replace observing how the item actually works in your home.
Your next step
Open the litter box product page to review its price and ask about dimensions. Compare the two hay holders if you genuinely need one. Our litter training guide discusses routines, while this article focuses on equipment selection. They complement one another without promising an immediate result. Check the UK delivery information for a British address; start with a quote for the United States. You can keep your selection in the basket while gathering details. Buying thoughtfully sometimes means waiting for one essential measurement rather than ordering immediately. That decision should make the eventual setup easier to use and maintain.
