Wooden rabbit houses: a hideout for quiet rest
What to check before buying
A house is a hideout, not a complete living space. Place it in a spacious, stable and quiet environment. Check that your rabbit can enter, leave and turn around easily. An upper level requires suitable mobility; a ground-level refuge is better for some companions. Inspect the wood, fixings and surfaces, and respect quiet resting time.
Does a wooden house suit every rabbit?
That depends on dimensions and mobility. Check openings and interior space before buying. Never force access to an upper level; provide a ground-level hideout for older rabbits or those with limited mobility.
